Update: April 28, 2009

Hi all,

As it so happened, on the day of my daughter's 3rd birthday, i admitted myself to the ER and had to undergo surgery from which i am recovering at this point. Sadly we couldn't celebrate her birthday as we had planned it the way i had written in my earlier post.

We did have a very quiet affair once i was back from the hospital, with just our family members. At least we got a very sweet and excited smile from her when we surprised her with her birthday cake and balloons, etc.

By the way, all the talk and what one reads in  articles about  'terrible two's', we found her 2nd year to be a breeze, and are finding bringing her up as she is 3 now quite a challenge :-). But boy aren't we up to it? Well almost, so far.

The 4th annual Lego Fun show with Arthur Gugick and his creations (http://www.gugick.com) was held on April 25 and 26 at the Lyndhurst Mansion, Tarrytown, New York. I was meaning to give some information on it and let people know of the same, but couldn't do so. My wife did plan on taking my daughter but she did not go in the end, as we had some last minute things crop up. Hopefully some of you made it, and did enjoy the exhibition. If you have some good experiences to write about, please do share it.

Here is the list of some interesting events coming up at Lyndhurst for kids and adults alike, if you happen to live in the Westchester or New York area http://www.lyndhurst.org/2009calendar.pdf
